Closets up to and including the ceiling

"I would like cabinets up to and including the ceiling," he said during our first conversation. Because before this, he was always short of storage space or the standard closets were not ideal for storing his clothes and shoes. Therefore, in the design we took into account making many smart storage solutions for: the coats, jackets, pants, shoes and watches, among others.

The cabinets and walls are finished in a black grain pattern. And to give the cabinets an even more luxurious look and feel, lighting is incorporated in and under the closets.

Custom 'floating' bed with matching nightstands

We also incorporated the clever storage solutions into the custom-made bed. And to make the floating effect of the bed more noticeable, lighting was installed under the bed. Nightstands were also made into the walls of the bedroom. In this way, the floating nightstands are integrated into the wall, are not in the way and the individual pieces of furniture are formed into a harmonious whole.

Room-length partition with two soft-close doors

In addition to all the custom furniture in the bedroom, we also made a room-long room divider with two soft-close doors. Of course in the same style as the room where the lighting also returns. The two rooms then flow seamlessly into each other.

Mr. van Gorsel had nothing to worry about thanks to our complete service; everything was planned to perfection and the parts fit together perfectly.

When you open the soft-close door, you step into an oasis of calm in a busy city. In addition to the beautiful view of Rotterdam, you also see the custom-made furniture that forms a whole together.

The closets, the shoe cabinet, the bed and the sitting area together form a whole where you can close your eyes after a long day. And may start your day again in the morning.
