Want to have a piece of furniture custom made?
Here's how it works!
If you want to have an interior piece custom made, you usually have a keen eye for detail, love beautiful things and have a distinct taste. A taste that goes far beyond the standard interior design in home improvement stores.
But… chances are you’ve never had a custom interior piece made before. So how does it work? What can you expect? And what do we expect from you? We’re here to make all of that absolutely clear.
What do you want made?
Have you always dreamed of a complete walk-in closet? Or do you want a whole new kitchen? Our hands are already starting to itch.
The first step is to simply let us know what you want us to make, and what the approximate dimensions are. You can do that by calling or emailing us.
If we don't hear the phone ringing, it's probably because we're sawing or sanding. Therefore, if you don't need to speak to someone right away, e-mail is better. We always respond within one business day.
Decide what you like.
Some people know exactly what they want, down to the smallest detail. The drawers must close softly, the interior shelves must be oak and the whole thing must be sprayed in high-gloss paint.
It's fine for us, of course, if you know exactly what you want. But it hardly ever happens in practice. In most cases we invite you to our workshop to discuss your interior design.
We do this by looking together at photos or videos you have collected. Or by simply listening to your wishes. Feel free to bring any materials that inspire you. Mood boards, pieces of wood, pieces of metal. As long as it fits through the door ;-).
We have been at it for so long.
After we know exactly what you want, what you like and its dimensions, we will start working on your proposal.
We calculate how many materials we will need and how long it will take before you can proudly show your creation to everyone. When we are done with this, we will call you and invite you to our studio to go over the quote.
"Should I visit you again already?" Yes, that’s correct. Custom interior design requires more explanation than you might expect, and we want to make sure everything is communicated as clearly as possible. Of course, our coffee helps soften the process—feel free to enjoy as much as you’d like!
We will make your interior piece and you get to come and see it.
It's time to let the sawdust fly, to get the drill running. The chisels come out of the grease and we put on our work suits. Want to come watch? You can when we're almost done, or when we're just getting started. You can always walk into our workshop. The door is open.
When do you have time? Then we'll come visit you sometime!
At the end, we turn the tables. When your interior piece is ready, we come to you by bus to put everything together. An exciting moment, because then you finally see how your furniture looks next to the rest of your interior. A guaranteed moment of pleasure that also makes us happy every time.
Et voilà.
An interior you enjoy looking at every day. The picture from Pinterest is suddenly in your home. Something that makes you happy every day and that you can enjoy for years to come. Are you already looking forward to it?
