For the Klaassen family, we pulled out all the stops to create a truly stunning effect. By deliberately playing with different shapes and materials, we created a design that stands out without feeling cluttered. The result is a kitchen that’s both sleek and warm, and that fits into the space as if it had always been there.

The Klaassen Family
A wall of cabinets with a rounded finish as a seamless finishing touch
The entire cabinet wall is custom-made in the Unilin H594 Valley Ash Patinated Brown wood finish, with a handle-free design and clean lines. An important detail is found on the right side: there, the cabinet wall continues with a rounded finish, giving the sleek surfaces a soft, flowing transition. It is precisely this detail that completes the kitchen and gives the entire space a natural, cohesive character. The wall unit subtly incorporates, among other things, a built-in Siemens coffee machine and oven, as well as an illuminated Vinata wine cooler.
An island that turns a support structure into an eye-catcher
The kitchen island was built around an existing structural support in the home. However, a visible steel beam in the kitchen doesn’t always look its best, so we completely clad the structure in the same sheet material as the rest of the kitchen. In this way, a necessary structural element was transformed from an eyesore into a real showstopper that actually adds character to the island. The copper faucet and sink, along with the outlets recessed into the countertop, provide a practical yet refined finishing touch.
Continuous sheet material for a calm, pulsating image
Both the kitchen wall and the island feature a Caesarstone composite countertop. This countertop extends all the way to the back wall of the kitchen, creating a seamless and serene look that comes together perfectly. The recessed LED lighting in the niche and the interplay of open and closed surfaces enhance that sense of calm, while the copper accents add just the right touch of warmth and interest.
