Gommers Family
Seven meters. That is the length of this custom-made furniture that covers a complete wall, from kitchen to living room. We were commissioned by the Gommers family to design and develop this wall in a sleek and modern style. We are happy to take you through the choices and the final result.
Everything in this kitchen is sophisticated. In large part, this is because of the contrasts in it. The black kitchen cabinets are surrounded by a wooden band that stands out but does not overpower it. On the other hand, the black is nicely contrasted by the white countertop and light tiles. The floating shelf allows the wood to recur on this side as well, where the details on the shelf provide color.
The kitchen flows into an alcove, where room has been made for a coffee corner. Here, too, white, black and wood are perfectly balanced with each other, and built-in spotlights and milled-in LED strips provide warmth. The colored books and other style elements also play an important role in the atmosphere that is created.
Adjacent to the coffee corner, we created a large cabinet with plenty of storage space and a concealed air conditioning system. This cabinet flows into a wide-format cinewall that uses black, white and wood in its own way.
In addition, all bronze-colored back walls are treated with a special "metal stucco.
Because of the compartments and integrated lighting installed in the cinewall, the cinewall feels like a small exhibition space. The plants and decorative elements placed in the cabinet are exactly what this wall needs to fully come to life and be completely balanced.
