When working from home is more the rule than the exception, you want to be comfortable. That's what family Hoogendijk from Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel thought too!
So they had approached us to create a custom study. Also, the entrance to their home could use a facelift. We knew what to do with that too, so we went to work.
In their study, they wanted enough storage space, so that everything can be put away after working hours and the desk stays tidy outside working hours. A warm closet door was chosen.
The connected desk is made of the same material as the cabinet, which immediately adds more tranquility. By placing it between the cabinet and the wall, it doesn't need table legs so it floats!
The entrance to a home immediately sets the mood upon entering. Therefore, we made a custom wall panel out of black MDF with a Zebrano veneer. This gives the entrance a luxurious and warm look.
Moreover, it serves at once as a secret door for the pantry! Then that's right out of sight, too.
