Luxury kitchen, cabinetry and various storage units in Kralingen

Groenen family

Just steps away from the Kralingse bos is this amazingly large apartment, which originally consisted of two homes. After the walls were broken through and interior drawings were outlined by an architect, the family (Groenen) contacted us.

After seeing the drawings and taking measurements, we knew what was in store for us; a chic minimalist style, in which black played the main role.

Since the interior designer of this home had coordinated the broad outlines of the design with the family, it was up to us instead to go into detail. With some minor adjustments to the architect's drawings, we were ready to make all the furniture that the architect had put together with the Groenen family.

The living room

The architect's drawings clearly showed that one large black cabinet wall, was to connect the living room with the kitchen. The television cabinet, therefore also flows nicely into the connected beverage cabinet and continues down the hallway, into the kitchen.

Because the same materials were used in the large cabinet wall, the cabinet exudes a lot of tranquility. In addition, the cabinet's golden yellow interior lighting creates a luxurious feeling when opening the cabinet.

The kitchen

When you walk into the kitchen at the back of the house, you see it right away: the wine cooler. A must for every wine lover. Not only very functional, but also very attractive and a real eye-catcher.

In the kitchen, we were able to provide all built-in appliances for the Groenen family, including the wine cooler, Bora induction cooktop with extractor fan, dishwasher, refrigerator and combination oven.

The cooking island
The kitchen island, made of concrete ciré and finished with a moisture-resistant coating, contrasts well with the black cabinet walls in the living room and the kitchen unit. Because the large cabinet wall of the living room, flowed into the kitchen, we were given enough space to also incorporate the refrigerator into the cabinet wall.

The bedrooms

In the guest room, we managed to translate the architect's design into a narrow storage cabinet with several drawers, which simultaneously functions as a window sill.

In the other bedroom with adjoining bathroom, we customized a narrow wardrobe that fits exactly between the two side walls and the ceiling. The floating desk gives the bedroom its hotel-like look and feel and makes the room a joy to sleep in.

What we made:
Black cabinet walls
  • Beverage cabinet
  • Serving Cabinet
  • Television Furniture
  • Built-in refrigerator
Kitchen island of concrete cire with built-in appliances and wine cooler
Storage cabinets / windowsill
Narrow closet
Floating desk
