Beautiful utility room, closets and various custom storage units in Oostvoorne

Glazenburg Family

In beautiful Oostvoorne stands the beautiful new home of the Glazenburg family. A new house naturally requires a fresh and modern interior. After the interior drawings were outlined by an architect, the family contacted us.

They visited our workshop in Rotterdam Hillegersberg to discuss their wishes with us. Seeing their architect's drawings, we saw the style they had in mind: sleek and contemporary with a luxurious, warm finish.

We knew what to do with that! After finalizing the drawings and agreeing on the final materials, we went to work! First from our workshop and later on location in Oostvoorne.

The utility room with various storage

First, we were able to realize a utility room for household tasks, such as washing, drying and ironing, as well as for storing and keeping (food) supplies and cleaning supplies.

That means the space has to be functional and fully equipped. So we created a built-in closet for both the washer and dryer, with room for two laundry baskets underneath and extra storage space at the top.

The central heating boiler and ironing board are also neatly tucked away in a broom closet, and an extra refrigerator has also been built into the pantry.

To ensure that the space retains the warm and luxurious look, we finished the inside of the cabinets with a light oak texture and the outside with dark oak.

Moreover, the kitchen unit has a countertop with a chic blended look and features an LED strip. Who says a pantry can't be stylish 😉.

The wardrobe closet at the entrance

A cluttered coat rack and shoes down the hall, which is exactly not what the Glazenburg family wanted. So we created a closet at the entrance for all their coats and jackets. In addition, we made 2 large drawers underneath to neatly store the shoes.

On top, compartments have been created to store all scarves, hats and other accessories. With the built-in seat shelf, putting on shoes and tying laces is no problem!

Because the cabinets throughout the house are made of the same material, this exudes a lot of calm and creates unity.

The living room

Finally, we were able to realize some luxurious cabinets for the living room and study. A beautiful low sideboard in the living room provides extra storage space. The shelves in this cabinet are no less than 40 mm thick!

The sleek TV cabinet floats above the floor and features 3 compartments that open with a push-to-open system. The rounded corner flows smoothly into that of the desk of the study around the corner. This naturally connects the living room and study.

The study

The desk then flows into the large closet wall. This creates a luxurious home office in this space. All the supplies you need to get to work can be neatly stored. The result? An inspiring workspace for the whole family!

Custom wardrobe under sloping roof

When your house has a sloping roof, it becomes difficult to place a standard closet there and have sufficient storage space. Customization offers the solution, also for the closet upstairs at the Glazenburg family.

This closet we made provides enough space for both Mr. and Mrs. of the house's belongings, with each having its own hanging section and drawer unit.

On the inside of the large closet doors, we also stuck large fitting mirrors. This way they can get a good look at their outfit from all sides before heading out the door!
