Beautiful huh, all those kitchens on Pinterest or Instagram
Do you also get a smile on your face when you see all those beautiful kitchens on Pinterest or Instagram? And do you also wonder where you can buy these types of kitchens?
We always say:
"The kitchen of your dreams you won't find in a kitchen store, but you can have it made..."
Who are we?
Interior Designers
We have been building custom interiors since 1976. This includes complete interiors to luxury walk-in closets. And complete commercial spaces to TV furniture. Both for individuals and business clients.
The focus on custom kitchens
But there is one thing we really never get tired of. And that is creating custom kitchens. For us, a kitchen is the place where the atmosphere of a home comes together. That is why we are honored to help customers throughout the Netherlands 🇳🇱 and Belgium 🇧🇪 build their dream kitchens every day.
A custom kitchen to suit your needs
The search for your dream kitchen often starts online. You create mood boards, save inspiring images, and dive into home decorating programs. You’re looking for a kitchen that truly resonates with you.
Maybe you dream of a spacious kitchen island where you can spend hours with friends. Or perhaps you’ve always wanted a wine cooler in your kitchen. And let’s not forget—a cooktop with an integrated extractor would be a perfect addition too.
When you come across something you are completely in love with, the search really begins.
Because where are you going to find exactly what you saw? You can't walk into a kitchen store and ask them to recreate a picture.
That’s exactly how we work—no compromises or styles that aren’t feasible. You’ll always get the exact kitchen you’ve fallen in love with.
Custom kitchen: here's how it works
1. The sizes of your kitchen
As boring as it sounds, in order to have a custom kitchen made, we first need some practical information from you. Do you have a floor plan of your home? Then this is usually the starting point on which we can base the indicative price of your kitchen.
Don't you have a floor plan?
We’ll ask you to provide approximate measurements of the area where the kitchen will be installed—no need for millimeter precision, we’ll handle that part! We’d also appreciate a few recent photos to help us better understand the space.
2. The style of your custom kitchen
Once you’ve provided your kitchen measurements, we’d love to see what kind of kitchen you dream of. That’s why we ask you to share some images that reflect your preferred materials and style. Perhaps you envision a sleek black designer kitchen with gold faucets and a marble countertop, or maybe you prefer a pastel-colored kitchen with an oak top.
Not sure which style you prefer yet?
Then check out our Pinterest page which we created specifically for kitchen inspiration.
3. The built-in appliances and cabinet layout.
Once we know exactly what style kitchen you dream of, we also want to know what your equipment needs are. Do you want a boiling water faucet, an induction cooktop with built-in extractor or a wine cooler? Or maybe you want it all. You decide. After all, it's your custom kitchen.
If you already know this, you can communicate it to us.
But we can also imagine that you would like to know what the possibilities are. That is why we can look atthe possibilities together during a meeting at our location.
4. Discuss the indicative price in our workshop
Based on your entered data, after about seven days we will invite you to our office to go over the indicative price. The indicative price consists of a minimum and maximum price of the kitchen.
Is it not yet clear to us which appliances and which cabinet layout you want in your custom kitchen? Then we can also discuss this directly at our workshop.
With us, you have the choice of every device you can think of.
From extractors to wine coolers. And from built-in refrigerators to steam ovens. From any brand. Bora, Quooker, Bosch or Siemens. Often a lot cheaper to buy.
Anything is possible when it comes to cabinet layouts: soft-close drawers, drawer dividers, turntables, built-in waste bins, pull-out pan drawers, carousel systems, and much more...
5. Determine the height of your countertop
Not only is the size of your custom kitchen important, but the height of your countertop also plays an important role. Although this may not be the first thing you think of, the height of your countertop is important to prevent back and neck pain.
The average height of a countertop is 90 cm.
Of course, you can deviate from this as much as you want. After all, it is a kitchen that you can have completely customized.
However, with the (possible) sale of your home, it is financially interesting not to deviate too much from the average height. Together we determine what your needs are and advise you on the height of your countertop.
6. Creating your kitchen needs as a 3D drawing
When all your wishes are clear to us, we start working on the 3D design. As you can see, the 3D design is a drawing that comes very close to the final result.
7. Presenting the final quote and 3D design of your kitchen in the studio
In the 14 days that follow, in addition to creating the 3D design, we will convert the indicative price into a specific quotation.
After preparing the specific quote, we will ask you to visit us. This is important because a custom kitchen always requires more explanation. Therefore, we also want to be able to properly argue how the quote was put together.
8. We come to your place to remove the old kitchen and measure the space
If the estimated price fits within your budget and you agree, we’ll visit your location to take detailed measurements for your new kitchen.
Is there still an old kitchen?
Then, of course, it must be removed before we can install the new kitchen. You can choose to remove and dispose of the kitchen yourself, but we can also do this for you.
Once we’ve taken precise measurements of the kitchen space, we begin creating the kitchen design and a detailed schedule. This outlines when we expect to complete the kitchen and when it will be ready for delivery.
9. We will customize your kitchen
After sending you the planning, you will also be sent the kitchen drawing and we will start ordering the materials.
As soon as the materials arrive, we get straight to work. We suit up, set up the machines, and get the sawdust flying.
10. We are busy and you may come and watch
Before we complete your kitchen, we’ll invite you to our workshop. There, we’ll show you the progress we’ve made and give you a glimpse of how your kitchen is coming to life.
11. Delivering, building and adjusting your kitchen.
Your dream kitchen is ready! That's why we come to your place to build it. This takes on average about 2 to 3 days depending on the size of the kitchen. We build the kitchen in its entirety so that it is functional and ready to use immediately. We adjust the kitchen cabinets, divide the cabinets and make sure the built-in appliances all function properly.
Building your kitchen is always an exciting moment—it’s when you finally get to see how it complements the rest of your interior.
The kitchen you found on Pinterest is suddenly in your home. An almost surreal moment that also delights us every time.
Don't be alarmed! For a quote, we need less information than you think.
